25 years ago a gynaecologist killed his entire family with gunshots and committed suicide one hour later. Investigating policemen Artois and Becks can’t find any motive. During a press meeting a photographer shows Artois a picture he took of the policeman standing in front of the window. Behind him stand the figures of the dead family members. Artois never shows that picture to anyone and the case goes cold.
When 25 years later a student is living in the house to protect it from squatters, he is haunted by figures wandering in the house and calls for Sandra and Nick, both ghosthunters. They discover that during World War II the Germans used the house as a brothel but also as a place to conduct paranormal experiments and carnage took place when they opened a doorway that should have remained closed. A doorway that is still open today.
